Pentabus Theatre is also offering all Book Award 2022 participating schools the opportunity for one of their industry professionals to come into the classroom to deliver a choice of bespoke, 1 hour workshops with your pupils.  Thanks to generous funding, these sessions are being offered exclusively to Book Award 2022 schools at just £150 per session plus travel for one workshop leader.  You can choose from the following topics to cover during a workshop:

    • Hot seating: Do you have a favourite character from the books you’ve read? Or a character that you find really interesting? Then why don’t you put them in the ‘hot seat’?
    • Story in 3: “One, two, three” offers you the opportunity to use theatre techniques to explore the best way to tell your story in three minutes.
    • Scriptwriting: Using playwriting techniques, develop dialogue, new secret scenes or soliloquys from characters you’d love to know more about.

These sessions are limited to first come, first served so to find out more and to book an in-school workshop please contact Ant Stones NOW at Pentabus Theatre: ant@pentabus.co.uk (direct line: 01584 856 564).
