In the morning Robyn Marsak spoke about the women poets of the First World War, Alex Walton on the women artists, who struggled to get their work accepted or recognised, and after an excellent lunch provided by Stop Cafe Adrian Barlow spoke of the influence Wilfred Owen had had on the poets who came after him. At the end of a wonderful day we had a surprise visit from Martin Impey who showed us a time-lapse film of himself working on his illustrated edition of Owen’s poem ‘Dulce et Decorum Est’,
