About the book:

You know when someone’s horrible to you in a dream and you wake up really annoyed with them? That’s what happened to me with my best friend Bunky.

Barry has a new problem: Gordon Smugly – who’s got the most perfect name for himself ever in the history of having a name, because he looks like a Gordon and is smug and ugly – has stolen Barry’s best friend.

Join Barry as he attempts to get Bunky back, organises a girly-screamvoice test and tries to avoid seeing his teacher kissing his gran.

About the Author:

After graduating with a first class degree in advertising, graphic design and illustration, Jim is how head of design at Puccino’s Worldwide Ltd, an international coffee shop franchise.  He’s illustrated kids’ food packaging for M&S, drawn cartoons on the sides of PJ smoothies, created in-store graphics for Orange phone stores, designed book covers and branded a New York based Iced Tea company.

  1. I think this is a very good book with so much exitement. Many other books are just going along the story in that boring way but this goes through the story with laugh out loud parts to keep you in the book for years.

I did enjoy this book because it was funny when Darren Darrenofski (who is annoying but funny) put a full stop on anton’s head (Anton is Barry’s friend Anton also has an invisable friend called Invis. I thought this book was funny espeacialy when Gordon smugly (who is smug and ugly) pretended to be hit by a rocket (when some of the villagers were having a fireworks party. It did end the way I thought it would because Bunky was friends with Barry again (after earliar he was friends with Gordon smugly) I would give this book a 10 out of 10 because it is very enjoyable.

  3. I found this book so funny! It is a very easy read and it is appropriate for all ages. I loved the characters ; they were hilarious. I recommend this book to everyone. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do.

  4. This book is amazingly funny. There is a picture on each page as well. I think it’s really good and it’s perfect for a big age range.
