Eagle Warrior

About the book:

Bobbie is thrilled that a golden eagle has settled near her family farm. But not everybody shares her feelings about the magnificent bird. When a beloved family pet is poisoned while out on the hills, it confirms Bobbie’s fears that the eagle is in danger, and she’s sure she knows who is responsible. Bobbie is determined to protect the eagle, but she also has to face the threat of being sent away to boarding school. Will Bobbie be brave enough to fight for the bird and the home she loves?

Eagle Warrior is a good animal book but compared to other books I was disappointed with it. I found in places it wasn’t as exciting as I hoped and I wish the story was longer. It was a very realistic book and I can imagine it happening in reality. It set the scene very well and I loved that. Sadly, I didn’t enjoy that book that much but I recommend it for younger years. 6/10

I really like the book, because Bobbie is a girl and she saves the eagle from the bad guy, Angus. From the whole book I know that she really loves the golden eagle and she also really likes mountains and forests. It has a lot of things going on and it is a very short book so that is amazing. It is so short that I wish I can read a bit more about it.

A brill book- nothing about it left any questions. Pleasingly straight forward (it wasn’t too complex.) which suited it. I also think the point it’s trying to get around was interesting; as the eagle population seems to be decreasing swiftly. An overall great book that makes perfect sense. 🙂

Eagle Warrior is one of my favourite out of the six books. I really enjoyed that the book included a lot of animals as I am an animal lover. Bobbie is my favourite character as she is brave and funny, The reason this is one of my favourite books is because the settings are really nice and that the house is based on a farm as I love farming myself. I would rate this book a 10/10.

My favourite book is eagle warrior

I like Eagle Warrior because I like birds just like Bobbie and I love the way Gill Lewis describes the eagle as an amazing magnificent animal which it is in every way so if you like eagles this book is for you and if you do not like birds then this book will change your mind and you will love eagles like me. I think you might like the scene when Bobbie saves the eagle from the farmer in a tree. My favourite character is the grandma who lives in a shed

I think Eagle Warrior is a very good book. The book is about a girl who lives on here grandma’s farm. She finds a beautiful eagle, but sadly it is endangered and she tries to protect it, but it is very hard because everyone lost faith in the eagle except her and her grandma. I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it to people that like adventure books. My favourite character was the dog at the start because he was very funny

I really enjoyed this book because of the unpredictable plot and well-made characters. I love that the book kept me guessing, just to a fantastic twist. I love Bobbie because of her design and personality. I think this book sends out a clear message about animal cruelty, and extinction. I loved the part in the book where Uncle Fraser comes, because it encourages your imagination and introduces more storyline. One thing I would change is the ending. I think the ending of the book is very typical and expected. I think if there was a twist, or a more dramatic ending, it would be more exciting. I think this book is a solid four out of five. It has room for improvement, but it is very interesting and draws the reader in. I recommend this book to readers who love an emotional book, and heartwarming storylines.

I loved this book because it has a really good story and characters I love the suspense I wanted more I didn’t want to put it down. I adore how they made the characters fall out and the heart wrenching moments when they all make up but the one thing I didn’t like about the book that it was too short. I am definitely voting for this book to win. I would love if the author would bring out a second. The I love how Bobby gets a bond with eagle and if she came out with a second one I would love to see that bond return and there the gran and Angus return with more than just him. I would also love them to travel the mountains to find the eagle’s home and to end it off Bobby says here last good byes for good. I recommend this book to every one who likes eagles and love books this is the right one for you and enjoy it and read on.

I like this book because it is different to Malamander and it is more action packed and emotional. The language is very in depth and is good for people with good vocabulary the only down side is how short it is but that does not ruin it.I like the attitude of granny because she is very feisty and she made me laugh. Another thing I love is the conflict of granny’s brother. One thing I thought is how much thought and emotion went into the story. So in conclusion it is an amazing book.

I like this book because it’s interesting and its detailed and is about a girl and Nan who was looking at a eagle. I would recommend this book to people who likes eagles and mysteries i think it is a good book. It is quite short but it is detailed and it does not take long to read. I hope there are more books from Gill Lewis this is my favourite book so far. This book is quite funny, so far i hope you enjoy these books. I can’t say much more but I hope there are more books by this writer. I enjoyed this book the most out out of Slick, Malamander, What’s That in Dog Years?, Armistice Runner, My Parents Cancelled my Birthday. I like this author because she writes good books and they are really detailed and easy to get through. My two favourite books are Eagle Warrior and Slick. I like this book 10/10.

I really enjoyed Eagle Warrior because it was very interesting. The minute I read the first page I knew I wanted to carry on reading , it had lots of humour. I think that lots of people will love this book. I would definitely recommend this book, even to little children . Also it’s not a big book it only has 96 pages so you can read it all really quick, it’s amazing. 100% this is my favourite book out of the three Bookfest books I’ve read. It starts off a bit weird and confusing on the first page but it just makes you want to keep on reading and reading. Also it has a really nice ending because you weren’t sure what was going to happen and it was really happy. My favourite part of this book was probably all of it, I found that there was not one part of this book that I didn’t enjoy. I love this book and I think you will too!

Eagle Warrior was good but it didn’t really hook me in that much although it put a really detailed description of the characters in your head. It is really tense at some bits. There’s this one guy who tries to kill the eagle and it’s up to Bobby and her grandma. When her posh uncle comes round and tries to send her to boarding school and she chooses to go or does she? If you’re into humorous book this book isn’t really funny but I’d still read it

I liked Eagle Warrior because Bobbie and Nan tried to save the eagle. My favourite character was Granny because she was a gangsta. Granny felt real to me. Her brother came to stay over but she chose to ignore him and go to her shed. I didn’t like Granny choosing to live in the shed because it would have been cold.
The story made me keep turning over the pages because I wanted to know what would happen next.

Eagle Warrior is a type of book that will inspire many children to do their part to help save the animals. I recommend this book to animal lovers.

I love Eagle Warrior. It’s perfect for people who love short books and the story line is great.the pages are yellow which makes a big difference to me and other people with yellow glasses.

Eagle Warrior is a good book. It was a really interesting book to read, the gran is so funny when she chucked Haggis and Bobbie’s brand new coat in the dust bin . I would recommend this to everyone!

This book is super empowering. It’s a quick read with lots of detail. The small pictures on the bottom are beautiful but not distracting.I could totally picture the farm and the moors in my head. I really hope there will be a second because I want to know what happens to Bobbie and if the eagle comes back to the farm.I would definitely recommend this to friend or family member that enjoys animal books.

Eagle Warrior is an amazing, heart-warming story about learning to be brave and to stand up for the things you love. The story is written beautifully, with some sad bits in places, that really get you thinking. I recommend everyone reads this book.

Eagle Warrior is a really good book about a girl named Bobby and her gran who do all they can to protect these precious birds. A short, simple but very good read and I completely recommend it.
