Bookfest was again (this being the third time) invited to present the details and logistics of its hugely successful reading development project to The Guardian Newspaper’s conference ‘Reading For Pleasure’ in London in June 2017.

The emphasis this time was on illustrating to delegates consisting of educational and literary specialists from the primary school sector around the country, the impact and success of the organisation’s BOOK AWARD project from the perspective of a participating teacher.  Delegates were invited to shadow or replicate this hugely effective project when it rolls out across Shropshire in September 2017.
